Ghana Audit Service Pensioners Association [GASPA] was institutionalized in 1993 and registered under the Companies Law [Act 179] in November 2009.GASPA has its Constitution and Bye laws revised in 2019. The National Executive Council[NEC], administers the Association from the GASPA Secretariat cited in Accra at the Audit Service Head office Annex 1, rooms 03 and 04.

Objectives

Excellence comes for our commitment to working with talented professionals, we collaborate with world-renowned architects, designers, consultants and amenity operators. Our in-houseteams oversee every aspects form conception to completion to deliver the finest products and services.

NEC is responsible for;

1. Preparing yearly budgets and processing funds for quarterly remittances to the regions.
2. Organizing quarterly meetings, Annual General Meetings[AGM] in March and end-of-year get-togethers.
3. Visit incapacitated members in Accra at least once a year and providing financial tokens.
4. Provide Age benefits for members 70-100 years old.
5. Prepare and present tributes and benefits for deceased members.
6. Registering new members at the office and on the GASPA mobile platform
7. Deletion of names of deceased members from payroll and platform.
8. Preparation and provision of completed bank loan forms endorsed by a GASPA letter to the Controller and Accountant- General [Pension payment] to effect bank loans.

NEC also follows up on:
a. Delayed gratuities and pensions
b. Arrears and re- computation of pensions
c. Short payments
d. Missing names on payroll.
